Leaving a Legacy

Leaving A Gift in Your Will

By leaving a legacy in your will to The Care Workers Charity, you will help make a long term difference to people from the care industry, who find themselves struck by the uncertainties of life or tragic circumstances.

If you have already made a Will

But would still like to leave a legacy to the CPBF, you can do so by making a simple addition to your existing will, known as a CODICIL.

Please contact your solicitor for advice on this.

If you have NOT already made a Will

You may, firstly, need to see a solicitor. You will have to pay for these services, but will receive sound and impartial advice to enable you to achieve your wishes.

http://www.totallyfreewills.co.uk/ offers a free online legal service to help you with some of the queries you may have.

Two ways to give to CPBF in your Will

  • Pecuniary gift - you can choose to give a gift of a fixed amount of money.
  • Residuary gift - you can choose to leave a share, or the whole, of what is left in your estate once you have provided for your loved ones.

Where can I find out more?

If you think you could help with a gift in your Will, please contact us or for more information go to http://www.rememberacharity.org.uk/.
